Solitaire for Seniors
Play classic Klondike solitaire with large, easy-to-read cards and simple tap controls. Start right in your browser—there is nothing to download and no account to create. Take your time, ask for a hint, and undo as often as you like. Small advertisements stay outside the playing area.
How to play solitaire
- Move all 52 cards to the four foundation piles, starting with Aces and building to Kings by suit.
- Build tableau columns downward, alternating hearts or diamonds with clubs or spades.
- Tap a card to make a legal move. Valid sequences move together.
- Tap the draw pile for one new card. You can turn the pile over again when it runs out.
- Only a King or a sequence beginning with a King can fill an empty column.
- Use Undo whenever you want to try a different move.
Make the cards easier to see
Press Bigger cards above the game, or open Settings and turn on Extra large cards. On a smaller screen you can then scroll to see every column.
Four-colour suits show diamonds in blue and clubs in green, so every suit looks different. The usual rule still applies: hearts and diamonds alternate with clubs and spades.
You can also zoom the whole page with your browser. On a phone or tablet, turning the screen sideways shows more columns at once.
Frequently asked questions
Is this solitaire completely free and without ads?
It is free to play. Small ads may appear outside the game or occasionally between games. They never cover cards or interrupt a move.
Do I need to download anything or create an account?
No. Play directly on this page.
Can I make the cards larger?
Yes. Press Bigger cards, or open Settings and choose Extra large cards. On a smaller screen, you may scroll to see all the columns.
Can I play without dragging cards?
Yes. Tap a card to move it automatically, or choose its destination yourself.
Does it work on an iPad or Android phone?
Yes. Use either orientation. Landscape shows more columns at once.
Can I undo a mistake?
Yes. Undo is unlimited and free.
Will my game be saved?
Your game is saved in this browser when browser storage is available. It does not transfer automatically to another device.
How can I help a parent or someone I care for get started?
Choose a comfortable card size, leave sound off if preferred, and try the short “Show me” guide together.
Is every deal winnable?
Deals are random and are not guaranteed to be winnable. You can start another whenever you like.
